Account deletion

Delete your Habeast account.

You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data. Your Google account will not be deleted.

Delete inside the app

  1. Open Habeast and sign in.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. Open Settings.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Read the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
This action cannot be undone. Deleting your Habeast account does not delete the Google account used for Google Sign-In.

Request deletion online

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email address connected to your Habeast account. Include the phrase “Delete my Habeast account” and the email address associated with the account.

Data deleted with your account

  • Habeast account profile and authentication record.
  • Name, email and Google profile photo stored or referenced by Habeast.
  • Habits, schedules and completion history.
  • Streaks, points, achievements and statistics.
  • Group membership, rankings and associated participation data.

Verification and timing

We may verify that you control the account before processing an email request. We aim to respond without undue delay and generally within one month where GDPR applies. Limited records may be retained when required by law, for security or fraud prevention, or temporarily in protected backups.
